Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Whitening Peeling Set Review
This is first on the series of reviews that I will write for Vivid Skin Essentials. Vivid Skin Essentials is a Philippine- based business in Davao City. If you have done a couple of researches about this product, you will see a lot of on-line distributors: mostly in Instagram and Facebook.
If you are like a skin care junkie like me, of course you wanted not only to have the best products but also a bang for your buck. Before I decided to purchase Vivid Skin Essentials products,I have actually compared it to a lot of skin whitening products over Instagram and Facebook such as Nyldal, Skin Potion, One Earth Organics Beauty and Thailand products.

I would say that Vivid Skin Essentials has the most number of customer feedback: showing actual testimonies of skin peelings and skin whitening. If you check its official Facebook account, it has a good number of followers and testimonies as well - which I think is very important when you are buying on-line. Since Facebook and Instagram doesn't have a feedback mechanism like eBay, most buyers wouldn't have any thing concrete to compare to.
So, when buying products on-line it is important to me to see that it has a robust number of followers and reviews. Another factor that made me purchase Vivid Skin Essentials products, is its price. It is relatively cheaper compared to Nyldal. For example its Vivid Skin Essetial's body bleaching cream costs Php 900 for 500 grams while Nyldal costs Php1800 (almost two times the price)!
So, here's what I think about Vivid Skin Essentials products, particularly the Advanced Peeling Set.

I initially purchased their Advanced Peeling set. Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peeling set contains yellow peeling oil, collagen soap and Luminescence body cream (note: some sellers bundled theirs with 24K Gold soap, which often times jacks up the price). Pricing for the Advanced Peeling set, varies for every seller; but I have purchased mine for Php 1300 (which is the cheapest, at the time of my research).
Vivid Skin Essentials Luminescence Whitening Body Cream
Vivid Skin Essentials Luminescence Whitening Body Cream has an instant whitening effect. Vivid Skin Essentials recommends to use this while you are in the process of peeling, as it has SPF 45 which will prevent skin redness under the sun and also lessens skin friction- which is most important if you have peelings on sensitive parts of the body such as underarms and inguinal area.
I found this product very effective, I have actually consumed my third bottle, upon writing this review. The trick to make the most out of this product is to use it in conjunction with a whitening lotion which has a thinner consistency. As Vivid Skin Essentials Luminescence Whitening Body Cream is thick, sometimes I find it hard to spread my body most especially in cold weather. What I use with this is Block and White Intensive Whitening SPF 16. I use this lotion first then apply Vivid Skin Essentials Luminescence Whitening Body Cream, and it spreads perfectly.

Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peel Oil
Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peel Oil is made of a yellow peeling oil. Note that there are a couple of different peeling oils in the market today, You can come across with a green peeling oil and a white peeling oil. I haven't really researched much on these two, so I cannot testify if they are really effective or not. Just a word of caution, the green peeling oil will turn your skin into green (literally!) before it starts to peel. So I wouldn't really recommend that, as it would make you appear like an Incredible Hulk, as peeling would normally last from three days to two weeks.

Vivid Skin Essentials recommends to use the peeling oil at night and then refrain from washing the body part where you applied for three days. It is very important that you follow this instruction as I have actually tried the product and took a bath on the second day. What happened was the peeling was not that solid - I have micro peelings instead. You would want to have solid skin surface peelings as it would hasten the process and would give you immediate results. When I tried the product on my underarms and refrain from washing it for three days, I had a solid full peeling - literally peeling off the skin in just one pull.

I found Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peel Oil very effective. I have already tried three peelings on my underarms, inguinal and butt area and my skin have whiten two to three shades lighter. What I love most about this product is that it is really safe - it didn't cause any irritation or pain and most importantly they deliver. I have stretchmarks on my butt area, and after three peelings I have seen significant results. I am planning to make my fourth peeling sometime this month, and I will post some pictures so that you guys can see the actual effect.

Vivid Skin Essentials Collagen Crystal Soap is bundled in the Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peeling Set. The soap is made of collagen essence and helps in peeling, whitening and most importantly makes the skin tighter and younger. It sounds like a marketing spiel right - but its actually true! I found the Vivid Skin Essentials Collagen Crystal Soap actually better than their 24K Gold Soap. It aid in the hastening of my peeling and have made my skin whiter.

Vivid Skin Essentials Packaging
This is how your Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peeling Set will arrive from Davao. It is carefully packed and sealed. However I do found the delivery a hit and miss. The first time I ordered, the yellow peeling oil, it did spill a bit. The seller said this is due to the handling of their courier, JRS Express. I ordered the Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peeling set during holiday season, so it got stuck for about five days in the courier, that's why the oil might have spilled. So just a tip, make sure you order during regular days so that it can be shipped right away. For Metro Manila delivery, it will only take about one to two days shipping.

My Verdict
Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peeling Set is very effective and cost efficient compared to its counterparts in the market today. Just make sure to follow the instructions exactly as advised by the seller and it will give you the best whitening results. Vivid Skin Essentials Advanced Peeling set effectively lightens skin, removes stretchmarks and is safe even for the most sensitive parts of the skin such as the face, underarms and even inguinal area.

Update as of January 2017
I already stopped using Vivid Skin Essentials most especially the yellow oil because I found out that too much peeling can also make your skin way too sensitive.
After my third underarm peeling, my skin started to react so much that it turned from red to dark! Really a nightmare. So I think girls, the key here is caution. If you will try to use the peeling oil keep in mind that it is really powerful most especially if you try it for the second and third time.
Each of us has its own level of skin sensitivity so its best to be aware of the signs that it is already taking too much chemicals - common signs are slight itchiness and redness.
